I have decided to post a list of some of my favorite photography sites on the internet. I have probably forgotten some that I visit from time to time but when I remember I will add them here.
This list is just magazine style sites and blogs. I will make another post soon with links to photographer’s portfolio sites.
If anyone has suggestions for great sites, please post them here. I am always looking for cool stuff to look at.

www.100Eyes.org – Edited by photographer Andy Levin, photographers from around the world donate photographic work to this online magazine.
www.DaylightMagazine.org – Published by the non-profit Daylight Community Arts Foundation (DCAF) showcase in-depth photographic essays on important issues of the day via Daylight Magazine (print) and Daylight Multimedia (online). By reimagining the documentary mode through collaboration with established and emerging artists, scholars and journalists, Daylight has become one of the premier showcases for contemporary photography. The Daylight Daily Blog lists opportunities for photographers as well as exhibition/book reviews and compelling art criticism from around the globe.
www.burnmagazine.org – Burn is an evolving journal for emerging photographers. Burn was launched as an online magazine/journal on December 21, 2008, and is curated by Magnum photographer David Alan Harvey.
www.digitaljournalist.org – Dirck Halstead’s online magazine for visual journalism. Halstead is a senior fellow in photojournalism at The Center for American History at the University of Texas at Austin.
mediastorm.org – Originally founded in 1994 at the University of Missouri School of Journalism, MediaStorm relaunched in March of 2005 with a focus on creating cinematic narratives for distribution across a variety of platforms. Utilizing animation, audio, video and the power of still photography, mediastorm publishes diverse narratives that speak to the heart of the human condition.
