Recognition is always nice. So when I opened the august issue of News Photographer Magazine, I was thrilled to see an advertisement for ZUMA Press, the agency that represents me, with one of my photographs. ZUMA is all about doing photos big when they use them. Whether it is in their advertisements or in their DOUBLEtruck Magazine, they run them BIG. Nice.
When I shot this photo, I was not sure about it. Liked it more when I did the edit from the day. Funny how you can see your photo in print and sometimes you see it differently then when you shot it.

Pete,
I saw your kit info after I sent the note. I read a lot of stuff on Photonet and look for suggestions on what system to buy into. But I never see anything of this quality there or on the sample pages of the review sites. Maybe those sites are not optimized to show the range and detail of the photos. But I really like this one. Though I haven’t yet decided whether or not your subject here is a good guy or a bad guy.
