Here are some photos from the James Madison men’s basketball game against Norfolk St. on Wednesday night at the James Madison University Convocation Center in Harrisonburg. JMU won the game 72-64. It was pretty close for the first half but then JMU separated themselves a bit and kept about am 8 point advantage for most of the second-half.

James Madison University's Dawn Evans jumps into the arms of her teammate Jalissa Taylor as they celebrate their upset win over Georgetown at the JMU Convocation Center in Harrisonburg on Wednesday. The Dukes came from 16 points down at one point to win 79-76.

I covered the JMU vs Georgetown women’s basketball game at the JMU Convocation Center in Harrisonburg, Va. tonight. It really was a great home opener for the Dukes. After getting off to a slow start, they overcame a 16 point deficit to pull ahead for the first time late in the game. After some very clutch free throws by junior guard Dawn Evans, JMU closed it out to win by 3.
